If the Nicovape® Q device emits a long vibration with a blue LED, it is getting a signal from your phone that is not strong enough to connect.
When you have successfully connected Nicovape® Q with your smartphone, the Nicovape® Q device will briefly vibrate and show a blue LED and vibrate breifly.
If the Nicovape® Q device emits a long vibration with a blue LED, this means it is getting a signal from your phone, but is not able to connect to it, either because:
- You have placed it near, but not directly over, your smartphone's antenna, or
- Your phone's case is preventing the connection
- Your phone is in low-power mode because of a low battery charge
How to resolve this and successfully tap in
Make sure your phone is sufficiently charged and not in low-power mode.
Since you're already placing Nicovape® Q in the right area, repeat what you did before, moving the device slightly higher or lower each time until it connects successfully. Ensure that you place Nicovape® Q in direct contact with your smartphone each time.
If you're still having trouble connecting, try connecting on the front of your phone instead, holding myNicovapeQ with the LED side facing you.
Once you've found the spot
Once you've found the sweet spot, do it a few more times to get the muscle memory. You'll quickly get the knack and be able to tap in without thinking.
