❓ Why Has My Nicovape® Q Stopped Working?
Not sure which version you have? Click here to identify your device.
🟦 Nicovape® Q V1
🔋 1. Check the Basics
-
Ensure your device is fully charged. Touch the USB-C to see the battery LED.
-
Check that your cartridge contains liquid.
🔴 2. Red LED Flashing, No Vapour?
Your device has likely triggered the No-Liquid Lock safety feature.
-
This occurs when the device detects insufficient liquid to generate aerosol safely.
-
You will feel a double vibration and see a red LED.
-
The device will not function again until reset.
What to do:
-
If the cartridge is empty, replace it.
-
If liquid remains, perform a quick reset:
-
Gently nudge the cartridge sideways and re-seat it to re-engage pairing.
-

🆘 3. Device Activates When You Touch USB-C?
This may be due to an emergency activation or touch sensor loop.
Try this:
-
Lock the device by tapping USB-C 5 times quickly. A white LED and vibration will confirm the lock.
-
Tap again 5 times to unlock (green LED + vibration).
🟪 Nicovape® Q V2
🔋 1. Check the Basics
-
Make sure the device is fully charged.
-
Touch the USB-C — a flashing red LED + double vibration indicates the battery is empty.
💨 2. Puffing Doesn’t Work?
In V2, No-Liquid Lock is removed — instead:
-
If no liquid is detected, the device vibrates once and does not deliver aerosol.
-
If the liquid was temporarily out of reach (e.g. due to orientation), puffing again may work.
-
If the cartridge is empty, the device will vibrate again and continue to block vapour.
What to do:
-
Inspect cartridges visually or via the portal.
-
Replace the cartridge if needed.
-
No reset is required — the device will retry automatically on the next puff.
🆘 3. Device Activates When You Touch USB-C?
This is normal behaviour — the USB-C touch port controls locking and battery checks.
If needed:
-
Tap USB-C 5 times quickly to lock the device (white LED + vibration).
-
Tap again to unlock (green LED + vibration).
