An issue has been reported where the LED stays on permanently. This issue does not affect Nicovape Q's ability to deliver its aerosol.
To resolve the problem, please follow these instructions:
- Continue to use Nicovape Q until the battery no longer powers the cartridge. The LED will continue to show red, indicating a low battery.
- Do not charge the Nicovape Q device until the LED turns off
- When the LED is no longer showing, charge the Nicovape Q device as normal. The issue will have resolved.
Why is this happening?
The software for the touch USB occasionally gets stuck in a loop, causing the LED to continue showing the battery status after it's been touched. By letting the battery run to zero, the software is reset.
How often does this happen?
It appears to be a rare problem, and it's unclear what triggers it. However, we have now identified the cause and have created a fix so that it will not occur in future products.
